Recently I have been craving a dark colour for my lips. I know it's spring and everyone has turned to neutral or pastel shades but I love this colour. I noticed drugstore brands tend to play safe with their colours and only produce colours that will sell so finding a lipliner this colour was so difficult. In the end, I gave up and went straight to the MAC counter. This lipliner is called Vino and cost me £10.50. I put this all over my lips and patted it towards the middle to create a lighter shade to make my lips appear more 3D and bigger. Trust me it works so give it a try yourself. 

Also if you're a fan of matte lipsticks, instead of investing in an expensive lipstick why not invest in a cheap lipliner and apply this all over your lips. I do this with Rimmel Spice and it honestly produces the same outcome as a matte lipstick. Add gloss if you prefer a satin or cream sheen finish.
