NARS Buenos Aires Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil
This wear-with-anything nude beige pink Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil is named after the capital of Argentina. It combines the ease of a pencil with the finish of a gloss for a truly versatile, quintessential modern classic.

The chubby pencil is exactly as NARS describes it - a pale, nude beige that goes on almost milky on my lips. The finish is quite opaque for a gloss, and the texture is creamy buttery smooth. It lasts about 3 hours at the most on me, fading away as time goes by - something which I am quite okay with in a gloss. The colour, though, on it's own is not the most flattering on me. I prefer to fill in unevenly, unfavorably pigmented lips with a mauve-toned lipliner (that's closest to my natural lip color) and then topping that off with the Buenos Aires lip gloss pencil. Much better, if you ask me :D

Here's what I like/dislike about the NARS Buenos Aires Velvet Lip Gloss Pencil
- A jumbo-sized sharpener :P :P
- And..put the pencil in the fridge for just a bit so the product hardens up a bit - less breakage/wastage while sharpening. Oh, and it is quite soft, so am not sure how this would fare in superhot climates.
