So the other day I popped into Topshop as I was passing on my way in to work, to check out some more make up and I picked up a lip liner and eye shadow because the colours were so preeettttyyyyy...

I've wanted a fuchsia eye shadow for some time now as I've always loved the smoky eye with an accent of pink that looks like it's coming through from behind.  And I picked up the pink lip pencil since I'm bang into Topshop's lipsticks right now and wanted to see how they applied with it underneath.  I wasn't disappointed with either of my purchases.

The lip pencil isn't the softest/smoothest I've tried but it does apply well and holds on to the lipstick really well, at least until I take it off or eat and the colour is really pigmented too which makes it a great buy for the price.  I didn't find it any more drying than the lipstick on it's own either.

As for the eyeshadow, I actually used it as a blush first and it looks great on!  I really like it as a blush because it gives a nice deep pink glow when applied really lightly.  It's easy to blend on the cheeks and on the eyes it really pops but I need to wear other shades to balance it out as it's such a strong colour.  Again, the pigmentation is fantastic and I'll be trying out a couple more shades of the eyeshadows, me thinks.
