This lip pencil from Gorgeous Cosmetics came from the December Glossy Box

I did a quick swatch of it during the opening of my glossy box video.

I like my lip pencils to be nice and soft, which this one is, no tearing at lips or having to do multiple layers just to get a bit of colour.

I love bold lip colours, and I think this lip pencil  is one of the nicest colours I have come across for a while and I wanted to make the most of it.  It seemed a waste to hide it under another layer of lipstick so here is how I prefer to wear it.

This simple glossy look can be achieved in three easy steps.

1. Firstly prepare your lips. You can make a simple scrub using almond oil and sugar, or use a fine toothbrush to remove dead skin.  Nothing makes dry lips look worse than bold colours.

2. Create a layer of colour using your lip pencil.  Get complete coverage and make sure it is nice and even.

Finally finish it off with a layer of clear lip gloss.  The one I used was clear with a touch of sparkles in it for extra glow

Coat your lips with a clear lip gloss

Then you are all down, now all you have to do is go out and be brilliant.

One word of warning, if you are using a clear lip gloss, do not use the brush it comes with, or you will end up like me and I no longer have a clear lip gloss but Scarlet coloured lip gloss.
