Lip liner helps seal in lipstick colour for long-lasting wear, it prevents it from bleeding and feathering and helps define the shape of your pout. Here we show you how to wear one of the three shade of Gorgeous lip pencil from your December box, “Entourage,” “Premiere” or “Scarlette.” We show you how to wear a daytime and a night-time look for full lips as well as an everyday look for thinner lips. See how your lips pop with colour and definition – gorgeous indeed! Try it out and show us on Facebook, or leave us a magazine comment to tell us how it worked out for you. XXX

Gorgeous lip pencil from your December box in "Entourage," "Premiere," and "Scarlette"

Full Lips- Natural, Daytime Look with “Entourage” colour Gorgeous lip pencil

1A). Exfoliate your lips, prior to starting and if short on time, add a lip balm so that the pencil doesn’t stick and so your lips are hydrated. Warm up the pencil on your hand first, then begin to line lips, tracing in feather-like strokes.2A). For full lips, stay just inside of your natural lip line. This is what your line should look like – just showing half lips so that you can see a difference.3A). This creamy pencil is great for making edges as well as filling in lip colour. Fill in your lips with the same feathery, light strokes.4A). Here is what it should look like after you filled it in – notice the difference in colour and lip shape.5A). For this daytime, natural look, we just dabbed on a bit on clear lip gloss over tip once the lips were all filled in.6A). Ta-da! The end result is a long-wearing natural lip colour with class and distinction.

Full Lips – Night-time Look with “Scarlette” colour Gorgeous lip pencil

7A). For a bolder look and night-time wear, use this brighter lip liner colour to trace your lip’s natural line. Red is harder to do and doesn’t take kindly to mistakes, so be sure to go slow with small strokes to make it perfect. Then fill in with the lip pencil to ensure the lipstick stays put all night.8A). Apply a similarly-bright lipstick shade over top.9A). The final look before and after. Ready to hit the town.

Thin Lips – Anytime Look with “Premiere” colour Gorgeous lip pencil

1B).  Here is an example of thinner lips – we have just applied a clear gloss as a base.2B). Next using our medium tone Gorgeous lip pencil, we make feather strokes just on the outer edge of the natural lip line to help plum up the look. For thin lips you can also fix any imperfections in lip shape.3B). We filled in the corner of the mouth here so accentuate and broaden the lips.4B). Fill in the lips for full colour using the pencil in light, quick, gentle motions, making sure to blend in.5B). Next select a lipstick in a similar burnt orange colour and blot on lips for a rich colour and even-tone look.6B). The final look – this colour is good for any age, anytime. We used a cotton bud to correct the final lip shape. Choose to add a high gloss over top, if desired. >> Show us your pix on Facebook and leave a comment below.
