No more thunderstorms this afternoon, thank goodness! But Tabs would like me to point out that it did rain, which he described multiple times today as, “bootsy.”
Gurl, if the power had gone out earlier and I hadn’t been able to upload these pics of the new NARS Summer 2012 collection? — whoo! I would’ve gone makeup MacGyver in this house! I’m serious. I would have grabbed my mountain bike and some jewelry wire, a jar of Nutella and some Spanx and turned them into a homemade generator, LOL!
The nine-piece NARS release sails onto NARS counters and into online shopping carts and hearts April 15.
Full reviews coming over the next few days. Until then, enjoy.

WARNING: The following contains PMS-related information. Reader discretion is advised.
Okay, so I’ve been trying this stuff from Borba, a health/beauty line, called PMS Rescue. It’s basically a powdered fizzy drink like Emergen-C, but for PMS symptoms.
I can’t say for sure if it’s the reason why “the girls” haven’t been as sore as usual or why I’m not feeling as moody as I sometimes do, but I think it’s the only thing I’m doing differently this month, as far as I can remember.
Could be the placebo effect, and if it is, that’s fine, too. If I revert from the PMS version of Bruce Banner back to the Hulk, I’ll let you know.
Off to chug another glass!
OOH! This is unrelated (so what’s new?), but do you read any magazines on e-readers or devices like iPads or Kindles? If you do, check out the Android/Kindle version of Entertainment Weekly.
I really like the graphic design of that magazine (and you know how much I like movies). They do neat things with titles and images that always give me lots of ideas for blogging.
Hope you had a good one today. We’re almost to the weekend!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
