Digging through my stash lately, I unearthed a lip liner. It was 1000 kisses Stay on lip liner pencil in
Coffee Bean. I don’t even remember buying it; maybe it was my mum’s. OMG! I couldn’t believe why I never tried it. I couldn’t wait and rushed to the store and got myself two Lasting Finish Lip contouring pencils right away!

My thoughts I am very pleased. For a drugstore lip liner, it probably is one of the best out there. I guess Rimmel has changed the name from Stay on lip liner pencil to lip contouring pencil otherwise they are the same.
If you remember, I talked about Karaja’s Lip Liner a while back where I said that I would keep looking for a lip liner that’s a bit creamier. Guess what, I just found it! To be honest, I liked the Karaja one solely for the gorgeous-ness of the shade I got otherwise the lack of creamy texture left room for improvement. I am so glad to find a similar shade in this line.
1000 Kisses lip pencil in Natural is a nude pink shade. Appears very natural on my lips. The texture of this one, for some reason, isn’t as creamy compared to Spice and Coffee bean so it consumes some effort. Except for Natural, I find the texture of the other two creamy enough to slide smoothly without dragging. But I can tell, Natural in comparison to the Karaja one, is a bit better.
I just found that Rimmel 1000 Kisses lip liner in Spice is a close dupe for MAC Lip liner in Spice. Wow, I didn’t know that. Spice is a pinky cinnamon shade and is much creamier compared to Natural. It is such a beautiful shade that I love wearing it alone. I lightly fill my lips with it and get a fresh pop of pink. It also makes a great base for my pink lipsticks. The staying power is commendable! It stays put even after the lipstick starts to fade. It can look funny though so I suggest blending the shade inside your lip when you apply it.
Coffee Bean is the creamiest of them all. It goes on extremely smooth but the shade is too dark for my liking. It’s a reddish brown color which can be used with red-burgundy to brown lipsticks. Being a nude/pink person, I don’t use it much. But if you are into dark colors (deep reds and browns), you must give it a go. This one is perfect!
Overall, I love these lip liners. I am very pleased with the texture and the incredibly good lasting power. The packaging is good too, they don’t crumble when sharpening. For now, I am really happy with my purchase.
You might like it if…

My rating: 4.5/5 I got these for PKR 350 each from Agha’s Superstore Karachi. For this price, it’s definitely a steal!
